When Oracle ceased free distribution of Oracle-JDK for production use with Java version 17, necessitated Calypso to support OpenJDK. As a result, the client faced a critical decision regarding their Calypso platform. The need to migrate to Calypso RedHat OpenJDK version emerged as a strategic imperative.
